This is a special event in place of the usual songwriters in the round night. For backstory, songwriters around the globe spend February deep in the creative process, with the goal of creating 14 new original songs. Often alone, sometimes in collaboration with others. Michigan has a long, and some might say unhinged history of participating in this event, held online at FAWM.org. With so many participants from right here in the mitten state, we are gathering the day after the songwriting marathon ends to share our creations with you. Many, if not all of these songs will be debut performances. Come celebrate the joy of live music and determination with us as we explode from our musical cocoons and onto the stage.
